MARS is competitive shooting series comprised of clubs from the east coast and central United States . The intent is to create a fun series that\u2019s both easy-going and exciting to promote camaraderie within the shooting community. MARS will collect scores from match directors after each event and track totals throughout the season, culminating in a end of the year championship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How it Works<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Anyone can attend and\/or shoot any match for fun. But to participate in the MARS points competition, competitors must purchase a membership in the MARS Store<\/a> to receive a MARS Membership Number<\/a>. Series points will be tracked using your MARS Membership number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scoring<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You get a match score for each match in which you compete. Match scores will be converted to series points, based off the percentage of the match winner. <\/p>\n\n\n

To qualify for the Series Finale, competitors must shoot MARS matches at four (4)<\/strong> different participating clubs<\/strong>. The top scores from each of those 4 clubs will added together in the Series Points Leaderboard<\/a>. Invitations to the Regional and Championship will be based off series points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


To become Series Champion, series points earned from the shooter’s top scores four (4) different clubs<\/strong> will be added with the score from your Regional match and the score earned at the<\/strong> Finale<\/strong>. The highest series points will be declared the Champion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a Series Champion for each division: Bolt, Semi-Auto, Senior, and Junior (Age 17 and younger).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each event will have a match fee of around $20-$40, determined by each club and match director. Membership<\/a> to participate in MARS and have us track your scores for the season will cost $30\/year for Bolt and Semi-Auto, and Senior Divisions, and $1\/year for Juniors. MARS team series is $60 per team entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prizes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We are have a bunch of wonderful sponsors that donate prizes. BUT we don\u2019t want this series to be about getting prize. We want it to be about the love of the sport, camaraderie and bragging rights. Series Champions in each division will take home the coveted MARS trophies. All prized will be distributed as outlined in the series rule book for the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
